AI slop media pisses me off

Today I am going to talk about AI slop media over the days and how it pisses me off, from someone else having Disney's properties outside Disney's site to reality-bending videos that looked like it came from CG.

Before going in-depth on why, we need to learn how such term was made

In generative AI, "slop" means that the material they made is unwanted, poorly done or contradicts the reality, often as low-quality media, or content that is misleading; with the goal of attracting views in every platform they have uploaded to. The slop topics around countries to-be-evolved and religion, but other topics may also be included. The perfect example of AI slop(s) are "someone's" son made something from plastic and "via hand", which did not shot in the reality, Jesus Christ with his body infused in the shrimp's body, where no one actually has drawn before AI did, and the uploader said that they hand-drawn, which is literally misleading.

In this post, I will not be ranting about it's hallucination on text, I only rant on content that are generated by misusing content (and people who misuse the assets). For AI-generated video content posted to public with no human reactions, that should put on it's own topic, even though that put such creators at the atrocious level. And I believe that you are not a real worker if you heavily rely your work on AI.

Now, I will be diving in the more complex types of slops.

Slop number 1 - someone else having theme park properties outside such site or pretend that they have it

Link redacted, to followers, please DM me for it.

This is what we will be living with now. At first glance I thought this person has gained a special request from Walt Disney Imagineering, but then something isn't ok, That was wrong, and I don't think the outfits be given to individuals, probably to prevent misuse or abuse, so I visited the creator's profile page and then something happened, it contained on outfits that at best I confirm don't think they are meant to be sold to individuals.

And the title is an obvious (trash) English, with a severely mispelled "beautiful", lost a letter a and added another letter l after the properly placed one.

After passively found the original material of the pose, it became obvious that this image was made from misused assets. And it's more obvious that it was made via LIME (which is the short name for Local Interpretable Model-agnostic Explanations) and thanked by it's wordmark that can be seen through the naked eye of us... that is if enlarged the photo. For God sake I hate this concept so much there will be cases where this was misused or even abused and then potentially tricked holders into "falsely" acusing them.

I don't obviously hate the title, it might be Disney characters outside Disney's park, even though I like to, but I have to separate "someone else" and the Disney character (or the actor / actress), because of this, caused via generative AI. But I also need to specify on why I have to separate:

  • "Someone else" who used AI software to put the outfit or costume design that mustn't be supposed to be there, if it shouldn't.
    • I think that this outfit is non-obtainable to people outside.
  • The character (or the actor) must have the knowledge of being the character. I don't know what kind of mumbo-jumbo will happen if they suddenly lost knowledges of being the character.

Imagine someone posted a comment saying "how did you get that," and then the uploader says "well idk, but it's still mine," and some madlad or madlass say that the face was tampered with and give us the unmodified link.

To those whose still thinking of "getting" it, I have something to tell you

The character outfit from Disney Parks are made (and repaired) in-house, if not via magic. The same might apply to other, non-Disney parks. They have their own pattens in the fabrics. They already have sewers, threads, etc. These advanced things I don't have (I have other advanced things like 3D printers and oscalating tool, but they might already have these too).

I did not have access to it but at least I saw that the park has in-house clothing design and sewing team in photos.

However the outfit the people are selling should not have been sourced from Disney Parks, because Disney didn't let them have it (ha ha). And don't think about getting it at the middle lines because it's illegal for God sake!

I need to ask to Disney Parks about this current controversy and ask them if they are ok at this or not, but at least the image material is the limit and maybe is ok if not for commercially used.

Slop number 2 - Apple become dog 💓❤️❤️❤️

Proof https://www.facebook.com/share/p/15PrY3pSTP/

This really pisses me off as this unrelated but AI-generated video was found straight from Apple Vision Pro YouTube search result in August of 20 in 2024.

It is obviously a slop as this video has the one and the only goal: wake these apples up as dogs in the appearance. I suposse, this video appeals kids! Since inside is an AI-generated fairytale or brainrot video, whichever defines the best. Note that I don't hate the term "fairytale".

Slop number 3 - would you rather believe in slop or make your dream come true

There are examples where the uploader wants you to believe in sloppy content, via blind means, like for example in the blue background there is an AI slop image of supercar being driven by animals or whatever that you have to "save" and the red background there you go get Apple Vision or get anything else. This pisses me off because under normal condition blue means good and helping, and red means evil, but blue contains slop while red contains a real product. These types of videos are also one of the examples of short-form video spamming as well! Where they upload different videos in the same or similar format just to make you believe in sloppy content, or get views.

Slop that porobably introduced before generative AI - face swaps of the beloved character in the real world [actually actors] to theirs

Link redacted, to followers, please DM me for it.

Before saying that, face-swapping was introduced way back when the term AI is commonly known in-game where characters move by computatuional means, not as insane as generative AI. Heck, the Nintendo 3DS can already use enough computautional power to swap faces, although it shoots in 360p 240p. But all thanks to such AI nonsense, this might be accelerated. Also I am ok if this is the drawing, but the real world? Think that needs consent first.

This topic happens with someone else's consent, or before the AI nonsense revolution, even before or after Nintendo 3DS introduced, but it makes me sad as it is obviously misusing assets, and by that I mean without someone else's consent, "stealing" or download the image, swapping someone else's faces with their's and then YOLO it (also known as blindly uploading it) to image sharing platform, and this further ticks me off as the place this image placed was in Disney Parks even before modification. Still, it is within the limit where users should not do to it commercially, which is why it won't be removed.

This is like the Butterfly CR phone levels of posting, where the product is fake, and is only based of imagination. This aligns that, except the person was real but the face was tampered with, just to attract views.

Unless if you explicitly say the source link before the face swap, I don't like it. And this is basically the same as slop number 1, but less insane.

Well there you have it, I will not talk about AI-generated characters because it's too obvious that they just want their imagination to be put while inside the sloppy environment, or some sort of confidential character makeup document leaked or disclosed to others without the consent of WDI-CPD as once I give the one and the only link the holder will instantiously request such leaked document to be removed in an cascading manner (maybe I will do, but in end-to-end). This is why we need to read text

I need real artists to take over, plus me

But wait, real vector artists can interview me and I hate AI art as much as these people do, they are already at the levels of low-effort, even though I am a banger CAD designer, I do not vibe-design my ideas. This post has taken a year to build, with zero intervention of AI suggestion.
