Cable organizer to extension cord mod
Parts coming soon to MakerWorld.
It's been another year since this kind of my mod has been working, and it will be released, and not just for one type of cable organizer, but every type of them, making its limit being only plugs and whether you like to place it.
This mod is "one of my abominations" beside the battery (that won't be released), or the hybrid products, such as filament-network shelf combo. It merges the purposes of cable organizers and the extension cord, make itself "it," by the meaning of this it fuses the extension cord to inside of the cable organizer. And because of my gimmick why not add a disconnectable tail just for easy expansion and maintenance purposes.

The goal (or the intended)
This mod was intended for IKEA's SÄTTING organizer, before I decide to be like "screw it, make it parametric and try to support it in every single cable organizers," and not just because of this, SÄTTING isn't available in every regions.
Parts
For printed parts this mod mainly comes with two printed parts for low power and three printed parts for high power, and then additional parts add by the drilling jig and the security plate.
For low power, it requires the C14 input and sockets and can handle up to 10 amps, and for high power, it has the C13 daisy-chaining output and uses C20 input which allows it to handle up to 16 amps, if without certain limitations. For either of these variants, they are secured by screws, heat-set inserts and most of the screws mounting the extension unit can be optionally covered by the security plate.
For the sockets, the international version supports the 1-gang 45*45mm square modular socket based on or from Legrand Arteor, by default being 3 of them. Support for NEMA socket with standard sockets available soon.
For the high power, it requires an overload / overcurrent breaker of 10 to 15 amps (KUOYUH 88 Series or similar), this is intended to cut the power when someone is unsuspected overloading the extension cord. It is mounted on the topmost of the input hand with a thread that has a waterproof dome.

How about the old version that contained the KOPPLA mounted in?
We will also release the legacy British Standard KOPPLA 4-port extension cord mount for SÄTTING or similar, this requires cutting the cable and wire it to C14 input port. This mount however does not support parametric modeling, only supports one type of extension cord and does not support whatever other standards.
Printing guide and user requirements
This project can be printed via FDM/FFF or SLS. However because we primarily use FDM/FFF, we recommend PETG or flame-redundant ABS, some people use PA, which is fine, but never use PLA or materials that do not meet flame redundance. Four wall loops for 0.4mm nozzle, at least 20% infill density and 4 top and bottom shells. For SLS, there is no other options beside PA (Nylon), so use it.
You must be knowledgeable in electrical work, including but not limited to: unit must be and stay disconnected before any work to them and follow the color codes. If you are concerned of such electrical work, don't make or convert the organizer (and just use the mount).
But wait! There's one more thing
This project does more than converting cable organizers. What if you don't want to use it as-is and use it as anything else?

Yes, of course, I used one of it as table's power distributor! Because the design is too simple, it can be integrated into table / bench mounts for specific tables or benches you want.
Release date
The parts for converting the organizers into extension cords will be released soon in MakerWorld somewhere 2026, and will be released in GitHub within next month. For the table mount, it was custom-made, so if you want to mount it onto your table or bench, you may figure out and design your own (while trying to make it as reversible as you can).
